Don’t Get Depressed
Hearing the word cancer is definitely a scary thing but we need to face the situation and fight it out. Anyone walking on road has got equal chance of getting an accident but that does not mean we should stop walking rather when such situation comes we get more alert and act bravely. Getting depressed and becoming aloof will worsen things rather we should be brave and face the situation. “Cancer is a mind game only brave people win over it”.
Don’t Take opinion from others on treatment of cancer
On diagnosis of cancer people speak to other friends and relatives. Reason may be we want to take opinion so that we can get some idea how to go about for the treatment.
People are not really aware about the recent advancements of treatment. They often misguides the patient and his family.
Don’t rush rather be cool and decide
Commonly people suggest “U have Cancer, Run To Mumbai and u get cured”.
Cities that provide specialized cancer care with latest technology and well trained people may be available nearby. U need to find out the best place where doctors practice evidence based treatment and get treated there. Logistics are very important as cancer treatment is carried out over a months together.
Take a second opinion but multiple opinion is dangerous:
Advise from people who underwent cancer treatment can help. Listen to their true stories and up your moral to fight the disease but not how to cure it. For the option of chemotherapy , Surgery or Radiotherapy specialized doctors can help.
Don’t Google that Phrase
When we google regarding Cancer a lot of things will come and it will be difficult to comprehend the contents and will leave you confused. Google can definitely increase your knowledge but will not be sufficient to apply it on your patient. U may frame your queries and talk to your doctor regarding the disease and its treatment.
